The Practice Support Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing, mentoring, and developing a team of Dental Practice Managers across six practices in Cambridgeshire. This position ensures consistent operational excellence, team engagement, and adherence to company standards. The role combines leadership, coaching, and HR management with a focus on people development, communication, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Line Management:
Provide direct support and supervision to Dental Practice Managers, ensuring practices meet operational, clinical, and financial objectives.
Mentorship & Coaching:
Act as a mentor to Practice Managers, offering guidance on leadership, problem-solving, and professional growth.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs and deliver or coordinate development programs to build management and team capabilities.
HR & Compliance:
Support with employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and retention across practices, ensuring HR policies are applied consistently.
Operational Support:
Assist Practice Managers in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), patient satisfaction targets, and compliance with dental and health regulations.
Communication & Collaboration:
Serve as a key link between Practice Managers and the wider leadership team, ensuring effective communication, sharing of best practices, and fostering a supportive culture.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives to improve practice performance, staff engagement, and operational efficiency.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in
people management
and
mentoring
within a multi-site healthcare or service-based environment.
Strong understanding of
HR processes
, including performance management and employee relations.
Demonstrated ability to
train, coach, and develop
others to reach their potential.
Excellent
interpersonal and communication
skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and build trust.
Experience within the
dental or healthcare sector
