We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. This role requires effective communication with staff, parents, and children, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all.

Candidate must have a Level 3 or higher Childcare Qualifications

Duties

Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive work environment. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance. Organise staff training sessions to ensure continuous professional development in early childhood education practices.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience working with children in a nursery environment is highly desirable. A relevant qualification in childcare or early years education would be advantageous.
