We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pre-school Manager to lead our team and ensure the continued delivery of high-quality early years education. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the pre-school, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards, EYFS and providing leadership to staff, children, and families.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the daily running of the pre-school
Lead and manage the running of the holiday club and after school club
Ensure compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted regulations and Safeguarding procedures
Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for all children
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
Manage and support a team of early years practitioners
Oversee planning, observations, assessments, and safeguarding
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Maintain accurate records and ensure efficient administrative systems
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within early years
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
A passion for early childhood education and child development
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
