Pre School Room Leader

We have an exciting vacancy at our small, privately owned Outstanding nursery!
We are looking for a pre school room leader who has experience of managing and mentoring staff in a leadership role within a setting to join our friendly team. This vacancy is ideal for a current room leader or someone who is ready to take the step up to managing a room. An NVQ level 3 in childcare or the equivalent is necessary for this role.
We are a small nursery setting with 32 spaces in the pretty rural village of Hillam close to the A1M, your own transport is essential as there is limited public transport. The ideal candidate will be pro active and able to take the initiative in challenging situations. You will need excellent people skills and the ability to multi task is essential. Your contribution to our team will make a big difference to the children and families who use our setting, collaboration between staff is one of our main strengths and everyone joins in and contributes on busy days. A good knowledge of the updated EYFS and Safeguarding is essential.
Hours of work are 7am to 6pm over four days.
