Precision Engineer/Machinist
We are looking for a time served precision engineer/machinist with a keen eye and a passion for continual improvement to join our busy and growing engineering workshop.You will have good experience of working manual lathes and milling machines ,using hand tools,working onsite, reading engineering drawings and any CNC setting knowledge would be an advantage but not crucial.
Working on a day to day basis in the workshop with occasional onsite work possible the ideal candidate will be able to work from customers drawings and samples manufacturing from a range of carbon steels , no ferrous steels and plastics mainly in small quantities.
The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team , be able to think for themselves, problem solve and adapt themselves to the change in work as no two jobs are the same.
