Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful security company who specialise in Security / Access Control Systems to some of the largest Utility companies across the UK as part of the National Grid Technology Framework. The Pre Construction Support role will assist with the planning and coordination of pre-project activity to ensure projects are delivered on time, and are cost effective.
Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide crucial support to Pre Construction Coordinator and Project Delivery teams
  • Ensuring strict Adherence to industry standards, fostering a culture of compliance within our organisation
  • Document, and update all essential paperwork/compliance requirements
  • Support with pre-construction site surveys
  • Procure, and coordinate project management resources and equipment, such tools, skips, hygiene facilities, drinking water, site disposable materials etc
  • Assist to make sure that scope is delivered and variations highlighted
  • Analyse risks and opportunities
  • Communicate project status to all participants
  • Adherance to Health & Safety requirements, waste management and environmental controls
  • Production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Requirements
  • Motivated self-starter, ability to work on own initiative
  • Methodical and organised, with good attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational, presentational and communication skills
  • Good problem Solving and analytical skills
