Are you a proactive and reliable individual with a passion for maintaining safe, secure, and well-functioning environments? We are seeking a dedicated Premises Officer to join our Academy Trust team and play a vital role in the day-to-day upkeep and safety of our school site
.
Key Responsibilities:
# Ensure the security of the premises, including key holder duties and emergency call-outs.
Operate and monitor building systems such as heating, lighting, cooling, CCTV, and alarms.
Carry out minor repairs, general maintenance, and porterage duties.
Maintain health and safety compliance, including legionella and asbestos testing.
Support cleaning operations and monitor standards across the site.
Manage deliveries, waste collection, and consumable supplies.
Liaise with contractors and oversee site works as directed.
Assist with setting up rooms for exams and events.
Work across other Trust sites when required.
What We're Looking For:
# Experience in premises or facilities management (school setting desirable).
Basic maintenance and DIY skills.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies.
Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office and email).
Flexible and willing to work occasional evenings/weekends.
