As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations to ensure smooth workflow. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications. Oversee food production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the team to develop innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and presentation standards. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times. Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout the dining experience.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Previous experience in menu planning and recipe development is advantageous. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. A passion for culinary arts, creativity in cooking, and dedication to delivering exceptional quality.
