Job Title: Prep Chef (20-25 Hours per Week)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Prep Chef to join our kitchen team. This part-time role involves 20-25 hours per week, supporting daily food preparation and service operations. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
Assist with cooking, plating, and service as required
Ensure all prep areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines
Support chefs and kitchen staff during service periods
Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in all food prepared
Requirements
Previous experience as a prep chef or in a similar kitchen role is essential
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety practices
Ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
Flexibility to work varied shifts within the 20-25 hour weekly range
Pay: 12.25-13.00 per hour
