Role overview

We are looking for a Prep Technician to join the Citygate Team where you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles. You will ensure the PDI's are carried out to the highest possible standard and within manufacturer guidelines.

Key responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Prep Technician will be:

To service and repair all vehicles

To report on all additional repair requirements as they are identified

To make written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller in order to obtain authorisation

To complete all administrative procedures (including warranty) relating to service and repair work

To maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment

To undertake vehicle road tests when necessary

Working to agreed time frames, and maintain a high level of productivity, whilst ensuring exceptional customer service at all times

Responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI's) on new and used vehicles.

About You

As a Prep Technician, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

Excellent attention to Detail

Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

Previous experience in a similar role

Full, clean UK driving licence
