Our customers across the Maritime Industry, ranging from Shipping, Finance, Insurance to Fortune 500 companies, and we are looking for a Presales Consultant to join the team and play a key role in our success in 2025 and beyond.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Presales Consultant

who will be responsible for providing product and industry expertise to our sales team and customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data solutions pre-sales, ideally with experience in the maritime industry.




This is full time permanent role reporting to the Head of Sales, EMEA.





This role is a balanced working model between home and in our modern and centrally located London office with an excellent and a wide variety of services and transport links situated nearby.




Key Responsibilities







Working closely with the sales team to identify customer needs, developing solutions and delivering tailored demonstrations to specific customer use cases and address their key concerns. Assisting the sales team in responding to RFPs, RFIs and tenders, understanding requirements and specifications including maintaining appropriate product documentation Be the first point of contact for sales to help handle prospect queries around our data, analytical models and product capabilities. Working with customers to understand their data integration and API requirements and provide recommendations on the best approach Gather feedback from customers and prospects and provide input to the product and data teams for future enhancements. Also, collaborating internally with the product and data team to ensure that the solutions being proposed are aligned with the product roadmap. Enabling sales and customer success team including new joiners with frequent sessions on product, data and industry. Keeping updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to position our business and solutions appropriately Participating in industry events and conferences to promote our products and services

What we are looking for:




Essential



At least 3 years' experience in a presales or similar technical role, with a focus on data integration and APIs At least 12 months experience working with AIS data Proven technical knowledge of APIs, web services, and integration platforms Experience mapping data to customer use-case and specifications Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to travel as needed

Desirable



A degree in any discipline (Business related degree's preferable) Proven experience in Salesforce Working in a SaaS, B2B or data and analytics product environment Experience or/and knowledge in the maritime industry would be beneficial but not essential Previous experience working in a startup or scale up business
