Duties

Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's development and learning. Provide supervision and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster a positive and nurturing environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a collaborative approach to childcare. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery or childcare setting, ensuring it is safe and welcoming for all. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development and improve service delivery.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting is essential. Strong management and leadership skills are highly desirable, enabling effective teamwork and collaboration. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively. A background in childcare or early childhood education will be an advantage. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation when necessary.
