Location:
London Zone 3 -- just a 15-minute walk from Highgate Tube, with the 134 and 43 bus routes stopping right outside. Our nursery backs onto the beautiful ancient woodland of Highgate Woods.
Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Working pattern:
4 days in nursery (7:30 am - 5:00 pm) plus 2 hours work-from-home (WFH) each week
Salary:
30,000 - 36,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)

The Role
As our
Preschool Teacher
, you'll lead the preschool group, creating a
child-centred, Reggio-inspired, and nature-connected
environment that supports every child's unique learning journey.
You'll plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality, play-based learning experiences that promote curiosity, problem-solving, and school readiness -- all while maintaining a deep respect for each child's individuality.
At Bloom, we visit
Highgate Woods daily for Forest School
, giving children the freedom to explore, play, and connect with nature. A
passion for the outdoors
is essential, and
Forest School training or experience
is highly desirable.
You'll spend
four days in nursery (7:30 am - 5:00 pm)
, with
2 hours of WFH time
each week for reflection, documentation, and planning.

outdoor learning and Forest School experiences
, connecting daily with Highgate Woods
Support children's independence, creativity, and emotional resilience

in all aspects of your teaching
About You
You're a passionate and creative early years educator with a love for nature and a deep respect for children as capable, curious learners.

Essential
EYITT qualification or equivalent minimum
Strong knowledge of the
EYFS
and early childhood development
Experience leading or teaching within a preschool or nursery/ reception classroom
Excellent communication skills and a warm, respectful approach to children and families
Passion for
eco-conscious, outdoor, and child-led learning
Reflective, organised, and committed to continuous professional growth
Desirable
Forest School or outdoor learning training
Paediatric First Aid
Experience supporting Ofsted inspections or curriculum development
