Preschool Manager
We are looking to recruit a manager for Little Dolphins Preschool, a small friendly charity PVI preschool, run on the Godolphin Primary School site. We have been awarded an OFSTED outstanding award and strive to offer high quality childcare for children between the ages of 2-5 years.
The duties of this position will include:
Day to day running of the preschool including planning, implementing and evaluating curriculum activities
Working towards the Early Learning Goals
Working with and managing an established team to provide a stimulating, safe and supportive environment for the children
Maintaining records including coordinating invoicing, billing and funding alongside the preschool committee treasurer
Liaising with parents/carers, the management committee and other professionals as required
Sit on the preschool committee as a staff representative
The successful applicant will have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), be fun, approachable, organised and committed to the preschool. They will be required to hold a full Level 3 qualification in early years education and childcare. You will have a minimum of 2 years experience of working within a preschool environment, preferably within a senior position. You will ideally be a nominated OFSTED person.
Little Dolphins is committed to safeguarding children, as such an enhanced DBS will be required for the position.
The candidate will be required to work approximately 20 hours per week, spread over four days. There will be a level of flexibility in this and the hours will be split between teaching and administrative duties. You will be required to attend relevant courses to further their personal development.
We anticipate a start date of 3rd November 2025 (ideally with a paid transition period 1 week prior to this with the current preschool manager)
