We're Hiring: Maternity Cover Preschool Manager (3-4 Days a Week)

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic and highly organised

Preschool Manager

to provide maternity cover for our vibrant setting. We are a small but busy charity-run setting with 2 playrooms and a large outdoor area. We are registered for 20 children per session aged 2 1/2 - 4 years. This is a part-time role for

3-4 days a week

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day running of the preschool in line with EYFS standards Lead and support a team of qualified staff Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children Maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community Manage planning, observations, and assessments to support children's development Handle administrative tasks including staffing, enrolments, and compliance Full job description available on request
About You:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Two years experience in a leadership or management role within an early years setting or similar Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Passionate about early years education and committed to child-centred practice
