We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating young children, creating a safe and stimulating environment that promotes their development. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a solid understanding of early childhood education principles.
Duties
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Supervise and interact with children in a nurturing manner, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's learning.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods, ensuring a structured environment.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages teamwork and shared responsibility.
Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery setting.
Requirements
Level 3 in Early Years & Childcare or an equivalent subject.
Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and families.
Leadership qualities that enable you to guide and inspire both children and fellow practitioners.
A background in early childhood education or related qualifications is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised approach in a busy environment.
A genuine love for working with young children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm in all interactions.
