The Opportunity

We're excited to offer a rare opportunity to recruit externally for a Pre-School Room Lead. This role is ideal for:

A qualified Early Years Teacher or EYITT seeking a leadership position A Level 3-6 practitioner with at least 2 years' experience in Pre-School An experienced Room Leader looking for a fresh challenge
You'll lead a team of 3-4 staff and up to 24 children, shaping a safe, stimulating and friendly learning environment with full support from our hands-on management team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Pre-School Room Plan fun, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning opportunities Oversee observations, assessments and record-keeping Support and mentor your team, identifying training needs and reflecting on practice Carry out peer observations and manage daily staff deployment Organise the layout and resources of the room Potential SENCO responsibility for Pre-School, working closely with senior staff to support SEND needs

What We're Looking For

Level 3 Childcare Qualification (or above) Previous experience in an Early Years setting Up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS A passion for creating inclusive, child-led learning environments Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

Work Schedule

Day shifts, Monday to Friday Standard 4-day week (37 hours), with optional overtime for SENCO duties
