Chestnut House Day Nursery has a rare opportunity to become our new Pre-School leader.

Chestnut House is a former 16th century farm, with over an acre of beautiful gardens for the children to play in .

Facilities are second to none, including our own swimming pool, where our children receive free swimming lessons every week.

Our outside areas are large and spacious, but are arranged to provide different areas and experiences and retain the intimacy for small group activities.

We are a fully accredited Forest School, which we offer every week, come rain or shine.

Our setting is busy, but with seemingly endless space, it never seems crowded.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner to lead our team of fully qualified and dedicated early years professionals.

The successful candidate, will have an in-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation stages and the drive to ensure that every child reaches their full potential and that their transition to our local schools is as smooth as possible.

Experience with Special Educational Needs would be advantageous, however a willingness to learn and work in this area is paramount.

Q.T.S. qualification would be also be advantageous, but more importantly they must demonstrate a desire for each and every child to be the best that they can be.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise a team of childcare staff in providing high-quality early childhood education and care. Develop and implement engaging educational programs tailored to the needs of preschool-aged children. Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and well-being. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour
