We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Early Years Educator to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives through engaging activities and personalised care, ensuring a safe and enriching learning experience. The individual must have robust Safeguarding Knowledge and EYFS experience.
Duties
Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote early childhood development
Supervise and support children during playtime, learning sessions, and mealtimes
Foster positive behaviour and social skills through effective management and leadership
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and well-being
Assist in the organisation of nursery events and activities to encourage community involvement
Support children's individual needs, including behavioural challenges or special educational requirements
Uphold professional standards of childcare and early childhood education at all times
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting
Demonstrated management and leadership skills in an educational environment
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience with childcare management systems is desirable
Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting children or supplies when necessary
This position requires applicants to have relevant childcare experience, excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
