Job Description

If so, we are offering a position as Prescription Clerk / Administrative Assistant working in the Dispensary and Admin Team at north House Surgery GP Practice.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with both the Dispensary and Administrative teams to provide efficient, accurate, and timely day-to-day support within the practice. They will play a key role in ensuring the smooth handling of patient medication requests and administrative data tasks, contributing to the overall delivery of a safe and responsive service.
This role requires effective communication with patients, as well as internal and external professionals, including GPs, clinical staff, pharmacies, and partner organisations. Working under the guidance of the Dispensary and Admin Managers, the post holder must be adaptable, well-organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
A flexible and proactive approach is essential, along with a strong commitment to teamwork and high standards of patient care and confidentiality.
