Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake setter / Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication and mechanical processes, with the ability to operate press brake machinery efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate bending and shaping of sheet metal components, contributing to the overall quality of our products.

Responsibilities

Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine production requirements. Conduct regular maintenance on machinery, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition. Utilise hand tools and tooling effectively for precise operations. Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations during production processes. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication, particularly with sheet metal. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficient in using hand tools and tooling relevant to metalworking. Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
