Trainee Press Brake Operator

Only a 4 day working week. Monday - Thursday 39 hour working pattern of 6.45am-5pm.
Perry of Oakley Ltd, a manufacturer of bulk materials handling equipment requires a person to join our CNC press brake folding & CNC Punch Press team. The company has a strong 70+ year heritage in the agricultural and biomass sectors as well as other allied industries. They have been awarded the SHAPA Exporter of the Year as well as being one of the UK's top 100 SMEs in recent years.
This is an excellent opportunity to join as a trainee and be trained up in a skilled role, while employed on a permanent contract in a successful growing manufacturing environment.
Key Skills
The ideal candidate will be flexible and energetic and willing to take a proactive approach to the folding requirements in a busy engineering environment. The role is hands on and can be physically demanding due to the nature of the product. Full training will be given
Key Responsibilities:
Operating CNC Press Brakes accurately Operating CNC Punch Press competently Reading engineering drawings Maintenance of work area Supporting other teams in Production and Dispatch if required
Essential skills and experience:
Excellent attention to detail Able to work to deadlines Pro-active approach to work Keen to be part of a team Willing to learn and develop within the company
Must have own transport
