Role Overview & Purpose
As a valued member of our Cutting Shop team, you will play a vital role in the production process. You will be responsible for ensuring all components are cut accurately and on schedule, helping the business meet its production targets and maintain the highest quality standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Read and understand engineering drawings
Operating the Press brake machine to bend and shape metal to specification.
Inspecting fresh sheet metal for any imperfections or quality issues
Monitor metal quality as its being shaped and identify and report drawing errors.
Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line.
Adhering to strict quality targets
Unload components onto pallets and label correctly
Carry out routine maintenance and calibration of machines.
Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations, Policies & Procedures.
Any other duties as required by management to suit business needs.
Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system.
Adherence to company health and safety procedures.
Hours of work, Monday - Thursday 6pm - 6am.
12 hour shifts
OT is paid after 41.5 hours.
