We currently have entry level positions available for people that possess some basic Electro or Mechanical interests, (our entry level roles do not require GCSE qualifications). Our workplace is located close to Gatwick Airport and candidates will be expected to make their own, travel arrangements, to and from work.

A basic understanding of electro / mechanical devices

Rudimentary mathematical skills, (training and support, if required)

The ability to follow written and verbal instructions

The ability to work at height

The successful person/s will be expected to fulfil the following daily requirements:

1. Report to the workshop supervisors

2. Undertake all tasks assigned

3. Works on own initiative

4. Provided daily support and assistance to experienced Technicians

and General Workshop Assistants as required

5. Carries out pressure washer cleaning of overhaula and repairs

6. Clean pressure washing area when cleaning tasks are complete

7. Monitors stock levels of cleaning products

8. Carry out daily checks on pressure washer equipment

9. Assists with stores management, stocktaking, stock replenishment, tool

checks, identifies and locates test equipment due for calibration, assists

with missing article searches, retrieves spare parts from the store,

ensures items for disposal are correctly recycled.

10. Undertake picking, packing and recording of items ready for dispatch

11. Carries out fan assembly refurbishment and bearing replacement

12. Assists the MERL Workshop Team Leader when required

13. Assists the Clients Managerial Team when required

14. Undertakes any additional task that may be required by the Client or MERL

15. Assists with depot and supplier deliveries

16. Undertakes inhouse or external training when required

17. Ensure workshop is tidy and all tools are returned at the end of each working day

Starting Pay above minimum wage

Plus:

Fixed work location work

Free on-site parking

Company issued tools kit (if applicable)

Half day working on Fridays

10 Day Christmas shutdown
