The Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit (YHROCU) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Protect Prevent Delivery Officer to join our Regional Economic Crime Unit, based in Wakefield.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to play a critical role in protecting communities from the growing threat of economic crime. Working across the 4 Yorkshire & Humber police forces and beyond, you'll help deliver innovative crime prevention strategies and forge lasting partnerships across law enforcement, education, and private industry.

At YHROCU, you'll be part of a specialist team at the forefront of tackling serious and organised crime. Your work will directly support the safety and security of communities across Yorkshire and the Humber. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

A strong background in working effectively with both public and private sector organisations to deliver shared outcomes. Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Confident in both written and verbal communication, with the capability to present complex information and strategies clearly and appropriately for different audiences. Skilled in coordinating with partners to ensure timely, accurate, and professional dissemination of relevant information across the region. A keen interest in the evolving landscape of economic crime, including current methodologies, enablers, and terminology.
