Position: Prevention Co-ordinator

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Grade E Salary 33,143 per annum

Location: Headquarters

Hours: 37 hours per week, however you may occasionally need to work beyond normal office hours. Agile working arrangements can be discussed with the successful candidate.

About the Role:



A position has become available to coordinate and supervise the administration activities within the Prevention department. The successful candidate will ensure the provision of a high quality and efficient administrative service to facilitate the delivery of the Prevention portfolio activities.


With experience of implementing administrative procedures, managing performance and working as part of a busy team, you will manage the Prevention Administrator, supervise and control their day to day workload and determine priorities to ensure that targets and deadlines are met.


Excellent administration, time management and communication skills are essential.


There will be a requirement for some travel for which a pool car will be provided.

Required Qualifications and Experience:



To be successful in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and experience:


5 GCSE's or equivalent qualification Grade C or above in English & Mathematics.

NVQ Level 3 in relevant subject or demonstrable experience.

Relevant typing qualification or demonstrable experience.

Supervisory management.

Working in an office-based environment.

Windows based software including Word and Excel.

Use of databases and extracting reports.

Dealing with the public and external customers.

Dealing with confidential and sensitive issues ensuring that systems are coordinated to maintain confidentiality.

Preparation of reports and statistical information.
