Do you love teaching Maths and English and enjoy helping young learners build confidence? We're seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Tutors to join our team of Super Tutors in Belfast. If you have experience teaching Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and want to make a meaningful impact in children's education, we'd love to hear from you!
Role Overview
Deliver engaging, face-to-face Maths and English tutoring sessions for Primary students.
Create supportive and enjoyable lessons aligned with the Northern Ireland curriculum.
Track student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with parents and fellow tutors to ensure student success.
Requirements
Essential:
Bachelor's degree. At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience. Strong knowledge of the Primary (KS1 & KS2) curriculum in Northern Ireland. Enthusiasm for teaching and helping children thrive. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, caring attitude. Dependable, professional, and passionate about making a difference.
Preferred:
Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS). Experience supporting children with additional learning needs.
What to Expect
Short teaching demonstration as part of the application process. Willingness to commit to the role for at least one year. All sessions conducted in person. Self-employed role.
Key Details:
Pay: 18-30 per hour (depending on lesson type, group size, and location). Hours: 4-25 per week, flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends. Requirements: UK bank account, right to work in Northern Ireland, enhanced AccessNI check (or willingness to obtain).
