School Hoildays 6 weeks shut down cleans per year.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, organised, and welcoming. This role is crucial in providing a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both staff and visitors.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including Class rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces. Dust and wipe down surfaces to remove dirt and grime. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness. Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or shortages to management. Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained. Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.

Skills

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot areas that need cleaning or maintenance. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills for interacting with colleagues and management. Knowledge of cleaning products and their proper usage is an advantage.
