JOB TITLE

: Primary School Sport and Physical Activity Coach (Term time only)

PAY RANGE

: 27,269 (full time equivalent)

LOCATION

: Various primary schools across Liverpool

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB

:

To deliver high quality physical activity and health & wellbeing intervention programmes in line with LSSP schemes of work. The position may also include the following:
Supporting our competition and events team

Shadowing current members of the team to gain a better understanding of the programmes Cover coaching which may included delivering primary PE lessons
LSSP adhere to a rigorous Safer Recruitment & Code of Conduct and as such the post is subject to satisfactory enhanced criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service, review of professional qualifications, two satisfactory professional references and an online social media profile check.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Deliver fundamental movement skills, health & wellbeing and physical activity programmes to young people across Liverpool to:

Deliver fun and engaging programmes to ensure learners have positive experience Follow LSSP lesson plans in line with programme requirements To work alongside school staff to enhance the delivery of sport and physical activity Support the delivery of both inter & intra schools competitions Conduct dynamic risk assessment and take appropriate action when required Attend relevant training courses to facilitate continued professional development and to use this knowledge to enhance your work programme Assist with appropriate monitoring and evaluation procedures to ensure the quality of the provision is delivered to the highest standard To attend meetings as and when required
