Legacy Sport is an independent company currently experiencing growth and expansion. Based in Daventry, we provide PE lessons, sports extra-curricular activities and school holiday camps within schools in the Daventry, Warwickshire and Northants Districts. We believe that sport is for all and everyone who attends a sports club should go away having learnt something new as well as thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

This role will involve working within primary schools as a sports coach, delivering PE curriculum lessons as well as extra-curricular activities. The ideal candidate will be a fun and exciting person, that has experience with working with children and can be a positive role model for all students. All potential candidates must go through the process of an Enhanced DBS Check.

Job Responsibilities:

Plan a range of fun and innovative sports sessions and PE lessons. Deliver high quality sports coaching sessions for children in education. Deliver sports coaching sessions in the school holidays. Administrative responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements Include:

Essential

- A- C (or equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths
- Full, clean driving licence and car

- Good communication and organisational skills.

- Confident classroom/group management

Desirable

- Experience of coaching/teaching children between the ages of 4 - 11

- Level 1 Coaching Qualification in any sport or Higher

- Up to date First Aid qualification (Training will be offered to suitable candidates)

- Child Protection/Safeguarding Qualification (Training will be offered to suitable candidates)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 18,000.00-20,000.00 per year
