Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students
- Follow the school curriculum and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS check
- Proven experience working as a primary school teacher
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of primary school curriculum and teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Effective classroom management techniques
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience in delivering remote or online learning
- Work in a primary school setting in Crosby, Merseyside
- Full-time temporary position with the possibility of extension
- Regular school hours with occasional additional duties or meetings
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
