is seeking a dedicated

Primary Teaching Assistant

to join their team

immediately

In this full-time, term-time role, you'll provide

classroom support

,

1:1

assistance and

small-group interventions

to help pupils particularly those with

mild Special Educational Needs (SEN)

such as autism, ADHD and speech & language needs make strong academic and social progress.

This role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant or a passionate graduate looking to start a rewarding career in primary education.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils across the primary curriculum during lessons and activities Provide 1:1 and small-group learning interventions Assist pupils with mild SEN needs, helping them stay engaged, focused and confident Support behaviour and learning plans under the guidance of the SENCo and class teacher Encourage participation through creative, positive and inclusive strategies Help maintain a calm, nurturing and well-managed classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be a graduate (2:1+ preferred) or hold a

Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Early Years / Childcare

qualification Have experience supporting children with SEN or additional learning needs (professional or personal) Be patient, empathetic and adaptable to different learning styles Show initiative, strong communication skills and a proactive mindset Work well as part of a supportive school team Have a genuine passion for primary education and child development
