We work closely with schools, local authorities, and families to deliver bespoke, interest-led programmes that support young people to re-integrate and re-engage with learning and develop the skills they need to become confident and valued members of society.

We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and committed qualified primary teacher with SEN experience to join our team and play a key role in our junior interest-led, play-based tutoring programme.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will:

Teach primary aged students with SEN, including those with?EBSNA, anxiety or other barriers to school attendance. Teach students in a highly personalised, small group (maximum of 6) environment. Create individually tailored learning plans and adapt teaching strategies to meet each young person's emotional and educational needs. Build trusting relationships with our young people who may have experienced trauma, anxiety or school refusal, supporting them to re-engage through patience, empathy and consistency. Work collaboratively with SEN and pastoral staff to foster a safe, inclusive environment in which all students feel valued, supported, and fully understood, ensuring their individual needs are met. Monitor and track student progress and engagement. Liaise with parents. Embrace a flexible, student-centred approach in a small-group, alternative setting. You'll have the freedom to teach in ways that truly connect with your students -- empowering them to achieve academically, socially, and emotionally. Deliver creative, hands-on lessons across a broad range of primary subjects. Personalise learning to meet the unique needs, abilities, and interests of every pupil. Foster independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in all our students. Collaborate with a talented, caring, and supportive team that shares your passion for inclusion, growth, and excellence.
Essential Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (Primary) or extensive experience in teaching SEN students. Proven experience in SEND, alternative provision, or similar settings. Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed practice. Experience teaching children with EBSNA, ASC, ADHD, Dyslexia, SEMH and anxiety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, families, and professionals. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to plan, deliver and assess differentiated sessions and individual learning plans. A flexible, resilient, and solution-focused approach. Full UK driving license and access to transport. Valid up to date enhanced DBS check is required. Proficiency in the use of ICT and software programmes.
