Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to educating and supporting students in their academic journey. This role involves working closely with children to enhance their learning experience and help them achieve their educational goals.

Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students. Develop personalised lesson plans that cater to the learning styles and requirements of each student. Assist students in understanding complex concepts and improve their academic performance across various subjects. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to track progress and address any concerns. Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and independence in students. Stay updated on educational best practices and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

Requirements

PGCE and/or QTS Enhanced DBS and on the Update Service Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents. A passion for tutoring and a genuine desire to educate and inspire young learners. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students. Patience, empathy, and adaptability in addressing the unique challenges faced by each student. Paediatric first aid
