A fantastic opportunity has emerged at a highly reputable Engineering Consultancy for a Principal level Mechanical Engineer / Consultant to work across a range of complex projects for heavy & industrial sectors.
This is a detailed investigation and customer facing role offering a significant amount of job satisfaction, stability, and progression.
The successful Principal Mechanical Engineer will be tasked with customer liaison, site visits, putting together proposals, investigating failures, detailed analysis, project management, delegating tasks and delivering bespoke solutions to customers.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a Principal level Engineer with strong theoretical and practical experience relating to tribology \xe2\x80\x93 e.g. gears, bearings, mechanisms, lubrication etc. Excellent communication skills are also required. Principal Mechanical Engineer requirements:
- Degree level minimum in a Mechanical Engineering discipline (or similar)
- Proven experience in a similar role - ideally at a consultancy
- Failure analysis/Forensic engineering
- Excellent knowledge of tribology (or similar)
- Strong communication skills
