Analog Devices is seeking an experienced Analog/mixed-signal Design Engineer with Audio or power conversion experience to work on the development of products for consumer audio applications. The successful candidate will join a diverse team that is supportive and eager to share its knowledge, and will have the opportunity to mentor younger engineers. It is the ideal place to enhance both technical expertise and interpersonal skills, whilst collaborating with our worldwide design teams.
As a member of the CSS team, you will be designing the next generation of high-performance audio solutions, which will define the way devices are operated, and the way music is enjoyed. These integrated circuits enable high-volume, high-visibility devices from market leaders who require premium audio to differentiate their products to the end consumer. The ubiquity of connected devices as well as the form factor reduction in audio peripherals is pushing the boundaries of existing solutions, thus calling for novel approaches.
The successful candidate will join a company with a rich history of producing breakthrough innovative architectures for delta-sigma DAC's and ADC's, Class-D amplifiers, and low-latency Audio DSPs, to name a few.

ResponsibilitiesLeading the detailed definition and architecture development of high-performance mixed signal devices IC block design, transistor-level circuit design and simulation Successful integration of blocks into larger mixed-signal systems Conducting technical presentations to ADI's internal engineering teams and Tier 1 customers Using recommended design and verification techniques, tools & flows to produce efficient designs which meet all specified functional, power and timing objectives Supporting other job functions such as layout, lab evaluation and test to ensure successful delivery meeting all requirements

RequirementsM.S. or Ph.D. Electronic Engineering degree with 10+ years' experience as in analogue or mixed signal design Candidates must have excellent mixed signal electronic knowledge and hands-on experience with industry standard design tools and flows Design experience with switching power supply circuits such as buck / boost converters as well as precision amplifiers, bandgaps, bias circuits, and LDOs Understanding of a wide range of circuits such as high-gain amplifiers, switched-capacitor circuits, and ADCs / DACs Proven track record of bringing multiple integrated circuits into volume production Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a multi-site cross functional team Some limited travel should be expected

Preferred QualificationsExperience in Class-D designs for audio applications Understanding of digital audio concepts such as DSP, Digital Filtering, Interpolation/Decimation and Delta-Sigma Conversion Passion for Audio
