What You'll Be Doing
As Principal Pharmacist - Aseptic Quality and Stability, you'll take a leading role in shaping and overseeing all aspects of aseptic processes and compounded medication quality. This high-impact position includes:
Driving Compliance:
Ensuring alignment with UK regulations including YCD, MHRA guidelines, and GMP, with a sharp focus on patient safety and product quality.
Improving Processes:
Reviewing and refining prescription and stability protocols to support effective, safe, and patient-centric outcomes.
Leading Innovation:
Spearheading R&D initiatives to enhance the stability and effectiveness of compounded medications.
Delivering Quality Assurance:
Implementing risk assessments, managing incidents, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Providing Expertise:
Acting as the go-to authority on aseptic quality and stability, delivering training and expert guidance to colleagues and clients.
Collaborating Widely:
Building strong internal relationships and supporting service delivery and commercial growth.
What We're Looking For
You'll bring a wealth of knowledge, passion for excellence, and the ability to lead in a regulated and clinical environment. Key qualifications and skills include:
Vocational Master's degree in Pharmacy
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Postgraduate diploma or MSc in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent)
Strong expertise in aseptic processes, sterility assurance, and quality control
Proven ability to lead quality improvement projects and influence across departments
Exceptional communication, analytical, and project management skills
