The Role

We are looking for engineers who want to play a key part in supporting the evolution of the Financial Services industry one project at a time. You will be expected to be a strong team player who prides themselves on delivering modern, first class cloud based platforms through practicing best in class Agile ways of working at all times.

QA and Automation at Capco

  • Be creating, driving and building test strategies that are robust, reusable and scalable.
  • Be responsible for creating detailed test artefacts such as test plans, test specifications, automated tests, defect tickets and reports
  • Be managing test environments, test devices, defining and creating consistent test data and reports
  • Work with both your team and other cross functional teams to plan and execute tests using the latest UI/Mobile test automation technologies, processes and tools to deliver frequently, safely and efficiently for millions of banking & financial customers
  • Collaborate with architects to ensure solutions adhere to their fundamentals and direction
  • Lead, mentor, up-skill and inspire other automation engineers
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent
  • Have the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-experts with eloquence and confidence.
  • Have an awareness and understanding of new technologies being used in finance and other industries and loves to experiment.
  • Have a passion for being part of a team that is forming the future of finance.
Skills & Expertise:

Required:
  • Solid Test Automation experience
  • Test automation frameworks for the one or more of the following languages: C# or .NET
  • Test automation experience using Specflow, Cypress, Robot, WebDriver or Selenium
  • Test automation experience using APIs; Rest Assured, Postman, Wiremock or Karate
  • Experience with test management tools; Jira, RTC, TestRail and Quality Centre
  • Continuous integration tooling for test scripts versioning, triggering and orchestration such as; Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub, Gitlab or Bamboo
  • Test automation quality assurance and technical debt elimination tools, such as; linting or dynamic waits
  • Good understanding of the various SDLC test levels and respective frameworks such as; BDD and TDD
Desirable:
  • Background as a developer preferred
  • Load and performance testing experience - Load Runner, Performance Centre and JMeter or similar tools
  • Experience on container technologies such as; Docker, K8S or Openshift
  • Experience with test environments and data provisioning
  • DevOps quality engineering good practises
  • Experience with quality assurance controls
  • Agile methodologies - Scrum, Kanban, Lean UX, X
  • Experience with any public cloud provider is a big plus
