COMPANY PROFILE
Oil Plus is a global leader in solving complex oilfield water handling and production chemistry challenges. We combine on-site troubleshooting, advanced laboratory analysis, and modelling to deliver real-world solutions for clients worldwide.
We're looking for a Principal Technologist to lead high-impact projects, mentor junior colleagues, and act as a trusted technical authority. You'll work closely with clients and cross-disciplinary teams, taking projects from initial site review through to solution delivery.
This is a hands-on role for a proactive, technically exceptional professional who thrives on tackling challenges, sharing expertise, and representing Oil Plus in the client network.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Strong production chemistry experience in the oil & gas sector. Proven ability to lead complex technical projects. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Commitment to mentoring and developing others.
ELIGIBILITY
Must have valid entitlement to work in the UK.

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
Aberdeen AB15: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
senior production chemistry: 10 years (preferred) oil and gas: 10 years (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
25% (preferred)
