The Role




The

Channel Marketing

Principal Consultant role is an integral role of both our Advisory and Consulting, project-based business. As a Principal Consultant you are responsible in delivering consistently impactful guidance to channel marketing, CMO and GTM leaders. You will support the delivery of strategic consulting engagements and develop senior relationships, making strategic recommendations on how to best build channel capabilities, organisational alignment, and channel strategies, to achieve their growth goals.


Our advisory team partners work with our clients to provide ongoing executive guidance from strategy to execution leveraging MomentumABM proprietary research, best-practices, frameworks and tools.


The role demands a growth mindset and strategic thinking with authority and expertise. You're helping clients to sharpen their channel marketing capabilities, develop channel strategies and design ABM programs to drive growth either with, through, or for the partners, provide guidance and assist clients to overcome operational and measurement related challenges.



Key Responsibilities:




Advis

ory and consulting delivery



Lead and deliver ongoing advisory engagements for allocated clients in technology and professional services Consult with clients to apply our research and best-practice models in the context of their business environment and help solve their problems through project-based engagements as well as inquiry and advisory Refine, "productise" and innovate a regular stream of channel marketing related IP and frameworks for our clients in line with the innovation plan established for the year Propose new ideas/ innovation opportunities based on gaps identified from client engagements Collaborate with other advisors to deliver exceptional advisory experiences in line with client's engagement plan Actively support collaboration, drive operational excellence and ensure client knowledge transfer is timely

Client relationships




Serving as the dedicated advisory point of contact for allocated clients, delivering value across all key interactions and proactively throughout the ongoing advisory engagement Elevate client interactions by leading engagements with clarity and impact Ensure a fantastic client experience by demonstrating excellent leadership skills, cultivating trusted client partnerships through the quality of your thinking, proactive and responsive delivery of consulting work Own the responsibility of gathering, synthesizing, maintaining and communicating internally a rich set of insights around a portfolio of clients, their business environments, challenges, and growth contexts, to inform future consulting and advisory delivery Spot opportunities and work closely with the advisory practice, service leads and commercial leads to support account expansion and proposal development Providing the highest standard of advisory services to support our clients, including facilitating workshops, leading assessments, delivering guidance calls and presenting best-practices, custom recommendations and research Leading key relationships with advisory clients ensuring high satisfaction, and enabling service expansion with clients

Strategic influence & market presence




Act as the internal SME on channel marketing topics Lead the development of channel marketing best-practices and productise IP to support consistent project delivery Collaborate with the advisory team and other internal SMEs to develop IP in the form of best practices, models and frameworks that addresses gaps in our portfolio Partner with our internal Marketing Team to promote our thought leadership and drive awareness for our capabilities through blogs, infographics, webinars, or podcasts. Present at our events, client events and industry-related events and roundtables Establish an industry presence as an influential speaker and thinker Support our teams in client development discussions Ensure success of delivery from diagnostic through the value realization Support internal enablement efforts

Experience:



Extensive experience in a channel marketing role (10 years+) and/or B2B marketing consultancy with a strong focus on B2B channel marketing. Experience in implementing ABM strategies with channel partners is highly desirable Demonstrable experience in own critical thinking and strategy development Bachelor's degree from college, university or equivalent work experience, master's degree, or MBA is highly desirable. Expert understanding of the nuances of different partner types

Salary




120,000 - 150,00 depending on experience
