Leading printing and packaging company that specialises in manufacturing high-quality printed folded cartons for a variety of industries is looking for

Print Operator - Heidelberg CD 102 6-Colour Press



Key Duties and Responsibilities:



Set up, operate, and maintain the Heidelberg CD 102 6-colour offset press. Read and interpret job orders to determine production specifications. Perform colour matching and adjust ink levels for colour consistency. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the machine. Ensure quality control by inspecting printed sheets throughout the run. Work collaboratively with prepress and finishing teams. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the press and surrounding area. Accurately document production data and downtime.

Requirements:



Minimum 3 years of experience operating a Heidelberg CD 102 6-colour press. Strong understanding of print registration, colour theory, and press calibration. Ability to handle tight deadlines and multitask. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials. Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings or weekends if required.

Preferred Qualifications:



Certification or diploma in printing technology if possible . Experience with aqueous coating units or inline finishing. Familiarity with quality systems such as BRC standard.
