A rare and exciting opportunity to join the Suffolk Digital team is available. Suffolk Digital are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join their friendly, dynamic printing and design company. The ideal candidate would have experience of working for a printing company; however, this isn't essential. A key responsibility will be to receive and process customer orders and to assist with print production. The role is varied with some scope for adaptation depending on candidate's skill set.
The role would be suitable for:
Recent university graduates or apprentices in graphic design or similar, looking to establish themselves in the industry. Or someone with a print or customer focused background.
Other Attributes and requirements:
A strong communicator, dealing with customers and assisting them through the ordering process.
Professional attitude with the confidence to ask for help when needed.
With this role being within a small team, the candidate will be trained in other areas of the business, so a flexible, can-do approach with a down-to-earth attitude is a must.
Main focus and responsibilities:
To review and process customer orders,
To assist with booking in jobs and printing jobs.
Supplying customers with proofs and liaising regarding the status of their jobs.
Amending and updating customer briefs.
Sending artwork files to our digital and wide-format printers.
Candidates must be willing to oversee some print production; full training will be provided.
This is a customer focused role ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Suffolk Digital is an established and experienced printing and design company who have been operating in Martlesham Heath Business Park for over 14 years. They offer a wide range of print and graphic design services to businesses and organisations nationally. Suffolk Digital are immensely proud of their services (producing digital and wide-format printing as well as working with suppliers to provide lithographic printing), their relationships with customers and suppliers alike, and have built an enviable reputation for their friendly approach.
The Role:
This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with career development opportunities in a small and friendly workplace. Whilst main responsibilities would be print production and account/job management the candidate would also be expected to assist with some other elements of the business.

Pay is negotiable depending on candidate's skillset and expertise, starting from 24,000 per annum. Please note this role can not be performed remotely.
