Print Shop Manager - Growth Opportunity

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Print Shop Manager to run and grow our digital print operation in Hackney Wick. This is a genuine growth opportunity - our commercial print business is currently generating 30k annually, but with our equipment capacity and East London location, there's significant potential to reach 100k+ within 18 months.

You'll manage the customer-facing print shop, run production on professional equipment (Canon Colorado 1650 and Xerox Versant 180), and actively develop new business through walk-in customers, outreach, and relationship building.

You'll also oversee our established wallpaper printing operation (120k annual revenue) and have full autonomy to run the business when the owner travels.

What You'll Do

Manage walk-in and phone customers - quote jobs, take briefs, build relationships Run production on Canon Colorado 1650 (wide-format) and Xerox Versant 180 Actively grow commercial print revenue from current 30k baseline to 100k+ Maintain quality standards and manage workflow Handle online wallpaper printing orders (training provided on products) Run the entire operation independently when owner is away Problem-solve technical and customer issues autonomously
