Overview

Terrace Coffee House is seeking a dedicated and passionate Coffee Shop Manager. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Experience within a management role in a cafe environment, and a solid skill level of Coffee preparation are essential to be considered for this role.

Working Schedule: Tue-Sat (38-41 hours)

Duties

Supervise daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction. Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development. Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health standards. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain a high level of service. Opening and Closing of the shop. Communicate with the owner (me) on how we can improve our services and give a better experience to our customers and keep efficiency high.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising or managing a team within a cafe or hospitality setting. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and motivation. Experience as a barista is essential, along with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and staff alike. A passion for hospitality and providing an outstanding customer experience.
