We offer a true bespoke service, which has helped us establish a strong customer base enabling the business to grow 40% in the last 18 months with further growth predicted this financial year, to help support this growth we have been investing back into the business and our team, with new machinery purchased and our current team rewarded we are now looking to expand on our current structure and introduce skilled team leaders who can help drive the business to achieve its growth plans. Role: As a team leader you will play a vital role within the business leading a team of operators within Print, Finishing & Dispatch. You will be responsible for Safety, Quality, Productivity and Efficiency, ensuring products are produced to the standards set by the company, and that orders are shipped within the quoted Service Level Agreed (SLA).
You will be directly responsible for up to 25 employees over several processes. Responsibilities:
Train, lead and mentor a team of operatives, managing holidays, breaks and other manning issues.
Conduct return to work interviews & performance reviews.
Run regular reports using the company's system, allocate work based on these reports.
Make decisions on work and manning based on orders and machine availability.
Initiate the company recovery procedures in the event of an emergency.
Perform regular audits of the factory, ensuring to report on any impacting factors, such as performance, quality & safety.
Complete paperwork & shift handover documents.
Report & escalate machine downtime.
Update our SLA board throughout the day and flag any concerns with the management team.
Help write SOPs and WIs.
Help to create production standards.
The above responsibilities will continue to evolve along with business growth.
The applicant:
Good Attention to detail.
Good understanding of the English langue (both verbal and written).
Experience using computer systems - Confident in the use of excel, word and outlook.
Able to lead meetings.
Confidently able to deliver training against company standards.
Confident in challenging employees regarding time keeping, sickness, quality and health & safety issues.
The applicant needs to have a strong level of man management experience to help bring the current team to the required standards.
The applicant should have experience in driving production performance and be able to give clear examples of how they have achieved this previously.
