Role Overview



Steele Rose is offering a 12-month Legal Graduate position in our Hammersmith office, providing hands-on experience in Wills, probate, and estate planning. Ideal for law students or recent graduates, this role combines client support, legal drafting, and administrative experience.

Join a team well known for our Free Charity Will Writing Service, helping clients manage their affairs with dignity. You will gain practical experience while developing key skills in client care, document preparation, and case management.

Key Responsibilities



Client Contact & Communication



Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in-person visits Contact new referrals to arrange appointments and follow up with clients Respond to client queries regarding Wills and amendments Provide clients with advice on procedure and legal terminology Greet clients and guide them through reception and office protocols Attend external Will signing appointments

Legal & Document Preparation



Draft Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) Draft legal updates for website publication Prepare Will and LPA packs for client sign-off Assist consultants with pre-signing paperwork and client preparation Provide internal legal training sessions for team members

Document Management & Case Closing



Manage DocuSign documents, monitor returns, and chase outstanding signatures Manage the closing process: receipting Wills, checking signatures, and confirming pack completion Store Wills securely, including safe storage, scanning, and CRM updates Request and track Will Packs to ensure consultants have them prior to meetings Enter and maintain accurate client records in the CRM system Enter and maintain accurate client marketing database

Administrative & Office Support



Collect and dispatch post efficiently Monitor and maintain office supplies Support ad-hoc legal and administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations

Skills & Attributes



Law degree (recent graduates welcome) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage Professional and client-focused approach
