We are seeking a skilled Legal Secretary to join our Private Client team in providing administrative support within a dynamic legal environment.
Our established Private Client department consists of four teams: Court of Protection, Probate, Trust Management and Tax and Trust Advisory.
We advise on the full range of issues that affect individuals from a lack of mental capacity, through to death, tax and trusts. The work is challenging and the teams are very hard working and keen to deliver the best possible service to our clients.
Duties
Prepare and manage legal documents and correspondence
Organise and maintain legal files and databases
Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates
Conduct audio typing and word processing of legal documents
Assist in research tasks and document preparation
Handle incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries appropriately
Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organisational and time management skills
Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role
Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is advantageous
Excellent audio typing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
