Role Overview



The Private Client Support Assistant plays a key role in delivering an excellent client experience by supporting clients through the will-writing process. This role involves direct client interaction, administrative support, and advisory responsibilities, ensuring clients receive accurate, timely, and professional service.

Key Responsibilities



Client Interaction & Support



Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in-person visits Contact new referrals to arrange appointments and follow up with clients
Take detailed client instructions and conduct follow-up and will signing appointments.

Provide clear and empathetic advice calls both pre- and post-signing for general and charitable clients.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring trust and satisfaction throughout the client journey.

Respond to client queries regarding Wills and amendments Provide clients with advice on procedure and legal terminology Greet clients and guide them through reception and office protocols

Legal & Document Preparation



Draft Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) Prepare Will and LPA packs for client sign-off Assist consultant with pre-signing paperwork and client preparation
Review draft wills to ensure accuracy and compliance before sharing with clients.

Manage electronic document circulation, including sending documents via DocuSign.

Ensure all client interactions and case notes are accurately recorded and updated in internal systems

Document Management & Case Closing



Manage the closing process: receipting Wills, checking signatures, and confirming pack completion Enter and maintain accurate client records on the CRM system

Administrative & Office Support



Collect and dispatch post efficiently Monitor and maintain office supplies Support ad-hoc legal and administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations

Skills & Attributes



Law degree (recent graduates welcome) Previous experience in Private Client law firm and advantage Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage Professional and client-focused approach

Benefits



Competitive salary 20 days' annual leave, excluding bank holidays Office closure Christmas closure is not deducted from annual leave 20 annual welfare hours for personal appointments, wellbeing, or community volunteering
