We are seeking a talented newly qualified team member to join our Private Tax team in London, which is responsible for a delivering annual tax compliance and planning work for a wide ranging portfolio of Trust clients.
As an Assistant Manager you will be part of the delivery team that works on client compliance and client planning work as well as yearly routine checks and practice development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified tax professional to build their career in a growing and supportive team.

As Trust Assistant Manager your responsibilities will include among others
Delivering high quality service to a portfolio of Trust clients
Ensuring administration of the portfolio is completed including all aspects of compliance, accounts, tax returns and tax computations
Identifying possible planning possibilities
Preparation of reports for clients
Answering client ad-hoc questions and enquiries in respect of the trust tax affairs
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should
Have ability to manage workload in order to prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines
Good written communication skills are necessary to draft correspondence with clients and HMRC to explain technical issues in an easily understandable manner.
Must have good inter-personal skills to be able to liaise with clients and other staff members.
Ability to meeting deadlines and responding to client needs.
Provide link in chain to supervise staff members below and support Directors above.
Education and Qualifications:
ACA/ CTA / STEP or equivalent qualification (Preferred)
Experience and Skills:
Experience gained within a professional services firm.
Good knowledge of personal tax compliance and ideally some exposure to planning/advisory work
Written and Oral communication
Must have good inter-personal skills to be able to liaise with clients and other staff members.
