Job Description

English tutor required for private tuition work. Mostly Secondary school children. Possibility of adults and younger children.

You must be a Qualified Teacher of English. You must have at least 2 years experience of GCSE. Full DBS.

Online only. (face 2 face possible in Maldon Essex area) 1:1 or possibly small groups. I am an established Private Tuition Company based in N Essex and am looking to grow by offering more English as well as the Maths and Science I already do. My other English teachers are full. You must have some daytime hours as I have home ed students needing a tutor.

Hours would be varied as the company continues to grow. I started with about 3 students a couple of years ago and now have approx 70 on the books and a waiting list. My other staff have between 1 and 12 hours per week from me.

I would be responsible for all costs and parental contact etc. You just tutor. Hours not guaranteed.

Evening work. Daytime work too as I have home educated students. Weekends and holidays optional.

Job Types: Zero hours contract, Graduate

Pay: Up to 25.00 per hour
